Hey!
I've got a little question for you..
I'm Dutch, I live in Amsterdam and I can't speak swedish. But last thursday I went to a club with friends, and I misunderstood a friend, I thought he said 'slurken', but he said something complete different. The word slurken isn't a dutch word,, and me and my friends used the word that evening just for fun, without a meaning. We were guessing what the meaning could be of the word, if it had a meaning. And really strange.. but we guessed it would be a swedish word. And a friend of mine joked that it woulde be a name of a chair from Ikea. (but I didn't like that meaning for the word). For fun, I googled the word..and found hits...from swedish sites!
My question now is; what is the meaning of the word 'slurken'?
Greetings...Anneke
Anneke - very off-topic :-) You can check out the swedish meaning of 'slurken' or the noun 'slurk' here: http://lexin2.nada.kth.se/cgi-bin/sve-eng
