I’m going to Turkey to report on the general political situation in the run up to the elections there. I’ll be doing it in all sorts of interesting ways. Apart from reporting for BBC World television, News24, and World Service radio, I’ll be doing a lot of things online.

It’s all somewhat guided, at least in my head, by the BBC’s fifteen web principles, and by ideas about ways of working that have been nurtured long before. All of the video, broadcast and behind-the-scenes, will be here on YouTube; there will be pictures posted here on Flickr, and my research links are going up on del.icio.us. There’s even a Twitter stream here, which I’ll be posting to throughout the assignment.
